10 best-selling motorcycle brands in the world

According to Motorcycles Data, after the first 10 months of 2024, the total number of motorcycles sold worldwide reached 51.5 million, an increase of 4.2% over the same period last year. This number is expected to continue to increase in the last months of the year when purchasing power tends to increase, thereby the motorcycle market will close 2024 with positive growth.

In addition, Motorcycles Data also continues to update the list of the 10 best-selling motorcycle manufacturers in the world after the first 10 months of 2024. The ranking results are based on sales data of 2-wheeled motorcycles (including motorcycles, motorbikes, electric motorcycles, etc.) of car manufacturers worldwide, excluding sales of ATV/RUV vehicles.

Accordingly, Honda is still the best-selling motorcycle manufacturer globally. Specifically, Honda’s global motorcycle sales after the first 10 months of 2024 reached 14.5 million units, up 4.2% over the same period last year and accounting for 28.1% of the global motorcycle market share. According to Motorcycles Data, despite being the leader, Honda’s market share is declining, specifically just last year Honda accounted for nearly 29% of the motorcycles sold worldwide.
